Connect an MCP client

The emely MCP server is a remote MCP server at:

https://mcp.emely.io/mcp

It uses OAuth 2.1. When you connect, your browser opens the emely app. You sign in and consent at app.emely.io. Your account needs the api_operator role. Without it, consent succeeds but every call is refused.

Claude (web and desktop)

1. Open Settings, then Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Enter https://mcp.emely.io/mcp as the connector URL and confirm.
4. Sign in at app.emely.io when the browser opens, then approve the consent screen.
5. The emely tools appear in the tools menu of a chat.

ChatGPT

1. Enable developer mode in Settings.
